I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and Certified Infant Feeding Educator — and for the past 15 years, feeding has been my focus professionally.

Not as a side specialty. Not as an add-on to a general pediatric practice. All of it. From NICU babies learning to latch for the first time, to toddlers with complex feeding histories, to parents sitting across from me at 6 weeks postpartum completely overwhelmed and just trying to figure out if their baby is getting enough.

I started my career as an outpatient therapist and kept hearing the same thing from families: "My baby does this for you here, but not at home." That stuck with me. Because home is where feeding actually happens. It's where the stress lives, where the 3am Googling happens, where the real questions come up. So I built a practice around going there — to your couch, your kitchen, your actual life.

In 2019, I became a mom. My son came with tongue ties, low supply, food intolerances, and eventually the full picky eating experience. I didn't just study these challenges — I navigated them myself. That changed how I do this work in ways I couldn't have anticipated.

Hi, I'm Marie

I've also worked alongside pediatricians, medical specialists, and multidisciplinary teams for over a decade. I know when something needs more support than I can provide and exactly where to send you. That clinical network matters — especially for families dealing with complex feeding histories.

When I'm not doing this, I'm cooking, reading, going on date nights with my husband, playing with my kid, and occasionally still thinking about my years as a Top Alcohol Funny Car driver. Yes, really.

Feeding your baby shouldn't feel overwhelming. It should feel like connection. That's what I'm here for.

Certified Infant Feeding Educator

International Board Certified Lactation Consultant

An SLP specializes in the mechanics of feeding- how the mouth, tongue, and throat work together during early eating and swallowing. Most lactation consultants don't have this background. It means I can identify oral motor issues, sensory sensitivities, and structural challenges that others might miss.

What The Letters Actually Mean For You

Credentials matter- but only if you know what they represent. Here's what mean in plain language.

IBCLC is the gold standard in lactation care. IBCLC's complete hundreds of clinical hours and pass a rigorous international board exam. When you see and IBCLC, you know you're working with someone who has done the work.
Specialized certification in infant feeding education- covering the full spectrum from milk to solids. It is what allows me to support your family through every stage of feeding without needing to send you to a different provider at each transition.

"Marie helped my son so much! I am forever grateful to her. When we first began working with her, our son- only 10 months would eat very little solid food and it had to be crunchy. He would basically only eat veggie straws. By the time he turned 2, he eats just about anything. And, now, we still use strategies as needed but he is doing great! Forever thankful for you Miss Marie! "

From families who were exactly where you are.

"Marie is a fantastic resource and has been extremely helpful! My daughter was diagnosed with reflux at 2 months old and Marie provided so much needed support as our daughter grew and began transitioning to bottles, then to solid foods and beyond. Marie was instrumental in helping us recognize that our daughter's reflux was possibly misdiagnosed and was in fact a dairy sensitivity. Marie has continually provided advice and suggestions to help our daughter but also keep us sane. Thank you Marie!"

"I worked with Marie in Feeding Therapy Clinic and along side her with many patients at Colorado Children's Outpatient Clinic. I am a dietitian and would 110% recommend her for my clients to see. I even resort to her for when I have questions about my infant age son's feeding! She is extremely knowledgable, kind, understand, evidence based, and always up to date on the leading research and technique within her scope of practice. If you are looking for a feeding therapist or lactation consultant for your family, Marie is the top choice!"
